iEDM: What was the best set you saw at Hulaween? Anything unique you’ve heard?

Nala: I loved Mark Farina’s set, particularly when he played Beck’s "The New Pollution". Love a good rock track in the middle of a house set!

iEDM: Which artists inspire your live performances?

Nala: I love energetic and emotive performers. Billie Eilish does a great job at this. Her attitude on stage is iconic. Green Velvet is also a great performer. I love how he performs his vocals live over different tracks. Flying Lotus has always been a favorite as well. His visuals are next level.

iEDM: How do you pick what to wear for your performance? Which brands do you gravitate toward?

Nala: I try to pick outfits that are comfortable, feminine, and a bit grunge. I love rock shirts and jeans the most. Furst of a Kind has been a favorite lately. I also like shopping on Machine-A or Ssense.

iEDM: Since you’re from Miami, what Miami spots would you recommend for our readers to check out?

Nala: The Standard Hotel in Miami is the most incredible place ever. The pool has music under the water! I love Boia De and Mr. Omakase for food. And you can't go wrong with Floyd, Space, or ATV for music.

iEDM: Any crazy stories from DJing in Miami that you’re down to share?

Nala: I once DJed a party at the Versace Mansion that was on par with some The Wolf of Wall Street vibes. Baby tigers and monkeys were in attendance. It was crazy, but I also got free unlimited sushi, which is my love language.
