[LISTEN] DJ DIESEL, GorillaT, & FRAXURE Reunite For Explosive New Single 'Pay Respect'

DJ DIESEL, the larger-than-life alias of Shaquille O’Neal, has joined forces once again with GorillaT — this time adding rising producer FRAXURE to the mix — for their latest bass-heavy collaboration, “Pay Respect.”

Out now via Monstercat, the single hits just in time for the energy of Miami Music Week, serving as both a sonic preview and a celebration of Shaq’s powerful presence in the bass music space.

“Pay Respect” arrives on the heels of DJ DIESEL and GorillaT’s scheduled appearance at Miami’s Mana Wynwood for the highly anticipated Bass All-Stars showcase on March 29. Also featuring Jon Casey, Celo, and chart-topping duo Two Friends, the lineup cements this as one of the biggest bass-focused events of the week.

The track itself opens with a charged trap-style buildup, setting the stage for DJ DIESEL’s commanding vocal cue before diving into an intense drop that fuses dubstep aggression with experimental elements.

“Pay Respect” emphasizes the growing bond between these artists —one rooted not just in shared performance stages but mutual admiration and a joint effort to push bass music forward.

The release represents an important milestone in GorillaT’s continuing rise. Known for his genre-defying sets and the Wonk Factory Tour, he continues to blend dubstep, trap, and bass-driven production with unrelenting momentum.

FRAXURE, meanwhile, has been gaining traction for his versatile sound that dips into drum & bass, hard dubstep, and experimental grooves—all hallmarks of this newest release.

“Pay Respect” underscores the core values of collaboration and community that have become central to DJ DIESEL’s mission in music. Rather than simply lifting up newer talent, he is working side-by-side with artists who inspire him creatively and personally — an ethos that gives the track and the partnership added weight beyond the decibels.

The single’s timing and message perfectly set the tone for a high-impact Miami Music Week and what promises to be another groundbreaking year for all three collaborators.
