[LISTEN] GHENGAR Unleashes 'AUTOPSY BUFFET' With Chassi
GHENGAR has officially entered a new chapter, and “AUTOPSY BUFFET” feels like the clearest warning shot yet.
Teaming up with fast-rising bass talent Chassi, the producer’s latest release arrives as a violent collision of tearout dubstep, deathcore aggression, and cinematic horror energy.
It also lands during a major momentum moment, with GHENGAR securing Spotify’s coveted Dubstep Don cover.

The release follows a revealing statement from the mastermind behind both projects David Crowder, who recently reflected on spending the last decade balancing the two sides of his artistry.
In a candid social post, he explained that he had finally channeled that duality into separate identities: "Ghastly returning to its roots of 4x4 and experimental bass, while GHENGAR evolves into the darker world it was always meant to become."
That direction is fully realized on “AUTOPSY BUFFET.” The record opens with a sinister spoken-word introduction before plunging into metallic textures, tension-building percussion, and distorted guitars.
What follows is an all-out assault of drum rolls, punishing low-end, and laser-like sound design built for chaos in live settings.
Rather than relying on shock value alone, the track feels deliberate in its execution. GHENGAR has always thrived in horror-inspired bass music, but this release pushes further into deathcore territory while maintaining the precision needed for festival systems.
Chassi’s presence adds extra force, making the collaboration feel like a natural pairing between two artists comfortable operating at maximum intensity.
The timing is notable. Just days after announcing that Ghastly and GHENGAR would move forward as two distinct creative worlds, GHENGAR has delivered a track that makes that separation immediately understandable.
If Ghastly represents experimentation and club-focused versatility, GHENGAR now stands firmly in the lane of brutality and unfiltered heaviness.
With “AUTOPSY BUFFET,” GHENGAR is not revisiting an old concept. He is sharpening it. The result is a moshpit-ready statement piece that suggests this newly defined era may be his most focused and dangerous yet.
