WHIPPED CREAM and BKAYE have returned with a new collaborative track, “never mine,” out now on Monstercat's sub-label Instinct.

As their second joint effort following the success of “real 4 me,” the single signals a continued evolution in their shared sound, built on emotive textures, live performance appeal, and a fusion of cinematic and club-focused elements.

“‘never mine’ is a sonic spin from my 2024 EP ‘is this real?,’ where BKAYE and I already have a release together,” said WHIPPED CREAM. “It was a great experience getting back in the studio with him to create what feels like a follow-up to ‘real 4 me,’ our last track. I have been playing it in my sets since the night we finished it and have wanted to release it ever since. This record is truly special to me because of how much emotion it carries without being overwhelming. The synths feel like they are breathing, and the vocals say everything by saying so little. This song is for anyone who knows what it feels like to miss something they have never really had.”
