Deep Tropics 2023 Brings Dynamic Lineup To The Heart Of Nashville
Nashville has always been one of the biggest hot spots for music across the United States. It's home to some of the most iconic country singers, rock bands, and more. Over the last few years, there has been a massive surge of EDM throughout the city. In addition to its club shows and raves, the crown jewel when it comes to electronic music in Nashville is Deep Tropics.
Co-founded by twin brothers Blake and Joel Atchison, this year's Deep Tropics will return to Bicentennial Park on August 18 and 19, for its fifth edition. Building on its amazing 2022 outing, the festival will encompass three immersive stages: the ancient temple-themed Meru stage, the bass-heavy Lotus stage, and the thrilling Congo Soundsystem.
Giving Back To The Rave Stomping Grounds
On top of its incredible stage design and visual production, Deep Tropics is dedicated to its mission of becoming the greenest festival in the country. It aims to produce be a carbon negative weekend for the third year straight.

Through its charitable and hard-working staff, along with environment-friendly amenities across its venues, 93% of Deep Tropics 2022's festival waste steered away from landfills. Furthermore, the event's revenue from its Green Disco Eco-Bands resulted in the planting of almost 60,000 trees in Kenya. This compassionate festival has doubled-down on its green preparations for the upcoming two-day art and music showcase.
Deep Tropic's Melting Pot Of Sonic Talent
At the center of all of its innovative features, Deep Tropics 2023 will boast a powerhouse lineup. Speaking on the roster, Blake says, “the line-up this year truly represents a global dance music sound. We have artists from six continents, which really fires me up. Growing up in Nashville, it’s a bit surreal to host this level of cultural diversity in a city that is still primarily known for country music. I’m particularly excited for Major League DJz, Gorgon City, SG Lewis, Sonny Fodera, DJ Minx, Coco & Breezy, Lunice, and What So Not along with local legends Subrinse and Lux Velour.”
