[LISTEN] Øneheart And Kazukii Team Up For Second Ethereal Anthem On Monstercat Silk, 'haunted'

At just 17 years old, Øneheart has achieved a milestone most artists only dream of – reaching over one billion collective streams for his music. This prodigious talent recently made his debut on Monstercat Silk, and now, he returns in collaboration with gifted artist Kazukii for their enchanting new single, “haunted”. 

This delicately crafted masterpieces takes listeners on an introspective through sound. Kicking off with airy atmospheric effects, the song slowly adds in chilling vocal echoes, beautiful piano chords, and a soothing yet driving, underlying beat. In the words of Øneheart himself, “This track originated when I heard Kazukii’s ‘Home’ back in 2021. I made a demo with a similar overall sound, then decided to approach Kazukii a year and a half later to collaborate on it. For me, ‘haunted’ represents a carefree past with minimal problems, radiating a sense of optimism and bliss.”

Kazukii adds, “‘haunted’ came together very similar to how Øneheart and I's last release 'restless' did. He sent me the original demo, and I felt something from it immediately. I tried to build onto the song from that feeling. To me, the song is about not being able to push away the memory of someone you have lost contact with. It reflects how you find yourself still thinking of them, even if you have both moved on.”

Monstercat Silk, with its emphasis on the therapeutic power of music and its ability to create emotional connections, is the perfect platform for the pair of producers' creative expression. It aligns seamlessly with their artistic vision.
