Why You Need To Attend Sequence Music Festival

| July 19, 2018

Festival season is off to a rockin' start, and it's about to get taken to the next level. The first ever Sequence Music Festival is around the corner, and iEDM is here to give our favorite ravers a couple of reasons to head into Industry City this weekend. You'll know exactly where's Brooklyn at when this one is all said and done.

All music is welcome here

New York City’s newest 2-day music festival is set to make waves featuring a variety of talent that you can't afford to miss. Besides EDM, the festival will include other genres of music that will get your feet swaying and head bopping throughout all hours of the day. From SHAED, a band that is saving what we love about pop music; led by powerhouse vocalist Chelsea Lee, to Anna Wise; best known for her Grammy award-winning collaboration with hip hop icon Kendrick Lamar for "These Walls," Sequence Music Festival is putting a serious spotlight on artists who are making big time noise on the scene. Even the most hardcore EDM kids can appreciate the spectacular lineup.

EDM is here to stay

On the electronic end of the spectrum, Neon Indian will headline the festival on Saturday, while Com Truise holds down the fort on Sunday. Are you excited yet? You better be. These guys are the real deal.

Neon Indian's chill "Polish Girls" launched the EDM star into the limelight when the track was prominently featured in the hit video game, GTA V. He's been rising through the ranks since 2013, and fans are eagerly anticipating a new album. Festivals are known to debut tracks that get people talking, so don't be surprised if Neon Indian drops a couple of unreleased remixes to set the summer feels just right.

On the following day, EDM fans can expect the action to furiously continue. Com Truise will represent the beard gang, no doubt about it. The electronic musician is going to bring his trippy LA vibes to New York City to make sure Sequence closes out in true style.

Show off your individuality

Speaking of style, with such a diverse festival lineup, you know people are going to want to look good this weekend. Luckily, our readers can get down to business and find the perfect outfit. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or a girl--we have something for everyone at iEDM.

Who are you most looking forward to this weekend at Sequence? Be sure to let us know!
