10 Artists You Must See At Shaky Beats 2018

| May 03, 2018

Shaky Beats never ceases to amaze us year after year with incredible lineups that bring people from around the globe together to celebrate their mutual love for good music. It's only Shaky's third year in the game, and after a tough debut to beat, it continues to go above and beyond with its talent curating.

The festival stems from the Shaky Knee's branding as their EDM powerhouse festival. This three-day city festival is must for anyone in the Southeast region.

This year, you can find a lot of Atlanta-based artists performing for their city at Central Park in Midtown. Shaky has more than just a new venue in store for us. We are excited to catch every act on the lineup and especially these 10 Artists You Must See At Shaky Beats.

1. Ludacris

Shaky Beats is bringing home a lot of Atlanta raised talents this year, and we absolutely can not wait for Luda! He is one of the most influential rappers of the "Dirty South." He's always had a passion for rap and wrote his first at the age of 9. This show is number one on many lists, including ours!

2. Kygo

Where do I begin with this one? Well, he's a 90s baby who rose to fame and built an empire quickly with his pure talent. His music hits you right in the soul. You probably know of his song "Firestone," which has reached over 47 million plays. You've got to catch this cat on his 2018 tour for a show you'll never forget.

3. Excision

Talk about a show, Excision gives one of a kind with out-of-this-world graphics and music that will keep you raging! After creating his own dinosaur themed music festival Lost Lands, the god of headbanging music is finally making his way to Shaky Beats. If you are here to party, you don't want to miss this performance.

4. Herobust

This Atlanta based producer is bringing the bass home, and it gets wild every time he does. He's making this stop during his 2018 nationwide tour where he's been destroying bassheads with lasers all over the country. It's known that anyone who is associated with Mad Decent will bring an experience that you'll be talking about for the rest of your life.

5. London On Da Track

You've heard it many times before "We got London On Da Track". He's another Atlanta based artist out there doing big things. Working with celebrities such as Drake, T.I., Post Malone, Lil Wayne, Birdman and many more, he is deemed "the best producer is business." You've got to see what all of the biggest rappers have been raving about.

6. Midnight Panda

Atlanta is just full of talent. This local duo keeps the city on their toes for the next show. Now, they've incorporated live instruments into their performances and give you an all-around Midnight Panda experience. Check them out to see what Atlanta can do. See you there, along with every other ATL native.

7. Unlike Pluto

Again, Atlanta created another with an immense passion for music. From dental school to the decks, Unlike Pluto followed his dreams no matter what other people expected of him. After years of hard work, he is touring the world, doing exactly what it is that he's always felt a drive for.

8. Bonnie x Clyde

Here we have the most adorable best friend duo that compliments each other perfectly in production and performance. The middle school friends made it straight to the top, side-by-side. With music released on Insomniac and Interscope, these two aren't stopping any time soon. We are truly excited about their Shaky set.

9. Dr. Fresch

This doctor has just what you need, a dose of those good vibrations. The Prescription is just that, Dr. Fresch's radio series. With guest mixes from notable artists such as Ghastly, Wax Motif, Louis The Child, and many more, this show has blown up episode by episode for the past two years. Check out his set for your daily dose.

10. YehMe2

After years of being half of the Flosstradmus duo, Josh Young decided to start a project of his very own, YehMe2. We've always loved Floss. Josh is now creating something that is 100% his vision and we can't wait to see what YehMe2 has in store for us. Scroll through his SoundCloud for a little preview.

Next week the madness begins and we can't wait to be fully submerged in all of it. If you haven't yet, get your tickets now and come shake it with us. Don't miss out on all of the fun.
