Electric Zoo Unveils Stunning Stages For 2017

| August 07, 2017

New York City is known for many things: the buildings, the food, the boroughs and the music. New York has a thriving music scene and this Labor Day Weekend, the City That Never Sleeps will be shaken by some of the biggest artists in EDM. The 6th Boro just dropped its stage designs, and Electric Zoo 2017 will be one of the biggest and the best that New York has seen.

Electric Zoo's main stage has been completely re-imagined from the cobra design of the previous year. This year, main stage has been named the Elephant's Roar and is seeing an extravagant design that is perfect for the animals that will be descending on Randall's Island during Labor Day Weekend in September. The Elephant's Roar will be headlined by DJ Snake, Above and Beyond, Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz.

Riverside is the Undersea Dome and will feature aquatic themes for attendees. Throughout the weekend, Riverside will see different sounds and artists. On Friday, Riverside will be a trance haven with Markus Schulz and Aly and Fila. Saturday will see dark and heavy beats from Oliver Heldens, Rezz and Malaa. Sunday will be a huge day for Riverside when Off the Deep End curates the stage for the entire day. Jauz and Slushii will shake Riverside with heavy beats and bass.

Electric Zoo has completely re-imagined all of its stages for the 6th Boro theme. And what says New York better than its ubiquitous subways? Hilltop will be redesigned as the 6th Boro Station and will see performances by Don Diablo, Excision, Slander and Thomas Jack. On Sunday, Elrow will be taking over Hilltop with its Bollywood theme and house sounds.

Awakenings goes dark and deep this year with the 6th Boro Industrial Zone. This is a homage to New York's famous and historic warehouse district. The 6th Boro Industrial Zone will see lots of heavy, dark and deep techno from artists like Sasha and John Digweed, Claude VonStroke and Dixon.

6 Pointz is a new stage that will be introduced at the 6th Boro this year. 6 Pointz will give attendees the opportunity to mingle with local and underground DJs and graffiti artists. 6 Pointz will be a special and different zone for attendees to check out the local music and art of New York and is something you don't want to miss.

The stages are absolutely incredible, and Electric Zoo 2017 is promising to be one of the biggest and the best yet. We've included Electric Zoo's official video of the stages below, get hyped!
