10) Moonlight Masquerade - Portland, OR

Moonlight MasqueradeDisco Donnie presents Portland’s biggest annual electronic music event, Moonlight Masquerade, a two-night NYE bash during December 29-30th at Portland Expo Center. 9) Radiance – Grayslake, IL

Radiance NYE

Just beating out Masquerade, Radiance NYE is another bass-focused festival that will deliver a hefty supply of mosh pits and deafening drops on NYE weekend. Taking place on December 30th and 31st at Illinois's Lake County Fairgrounds, the Saturday of New Year's Eve will host Ganja White Night, who plans on wobbling us into 2024.

8) Together As One NYE – Tacoma, WA

Together As OneTogether As One NYE is a thrilling two-day festival set to illuminate the New Year's Eve weekend at Tacoma Dome. The Pacific Northwest's EDM scene will be electrified by top-tier artists, including The Chainsmokers, Seven Lions, Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Alison Wonderland, and more.

This grand celebration will immerse attendees in EDM soundscapes, bidding farewell to 2023 and welcoming 2024 with unforgettable performances. After a ten-year hiatus, Insomniac has brought back Together As One, relocating it to Washington State's largest indoor venue.

7) Forever Midnight – LA AND Forever Midnight – Las Vegas

Both touching down on December 30th and 31st, Forever Midnight is taking over the west coast with two monstrous lineups, booking nearly identical acts that will switch places each day. At the Los Angeles Convention Center, doors will open at 4 PM, meanwhile at Las Vegas's LV Festpark the festivies will commence at 6 PM.

Featuring the cream of the crop in melodic techno, minimal house, and everything in between, FISHER, Eric Prydz, ANOTR, Solomun, Sofi Tukker, Mau P, Jamie Jones b2b The Martinez Brothers, and Kaskade (Redux) are just a few that will be delivering performances. 

There will also be sets from hip-hop, alternative, and abstract melting pot Kaytranada at both venues. Personally, this is the #1 festival experience to reign in the New Year. But I wanted to leave all bias out of this curated selection, despite Forever Midnight being undeniably stacked.

6) HiJinx - Philadelphia, PA

Do you like bass in your face? In HiJinx fashion, headbanging and nasty bass faces are here to stay as you ring in 2024. December 29th-30th at Pennsylvania Convention Center schedules heavy-hitters Liquid Stranger, RL Grime, Subtronics, and Skrillex

There will also be two emphatic b2bs that attendees will never forget. Bass house legends JOYRYDE and Habstrakt are ready to have the crowd roaring in excitement. Then one of the most thrilling collaborations of 2023, REZZMAU5 will hypnotize ravers with an unprecedented fusion of bass.

FNGRS CRSSD is known for their stellar lineup curation, specializing in the hottest house and techno names across the globe.

As CRSSD Fest gains more acclaim every year, FNGRS CRSSD presents CRSSD PROPER NYE as their next development at Petco Park on December 31st and January 1stThe lineup includes over 50 unique artists and four stages with top-notch sonic and visual production.

Keeping the reputation as hosting a refuge to techno fanatics and house lovers, Gorgon City, ZHU, HUGEL, Sonny Fodera, CamelPhat, Chris Lake, Claptone, Diplo, Duke Dumont, and Kyle Watson ignite this year’s inaugural NYE atmosphere at Petco.

They will share the stage by a diverse selection of riveting up-and-comers and veterans, from Azzecca and Disfreq, to Jerro and Chris Lorenzo.

4) Fresh Start - San Francisco, CA

The Midway’s annual New Year celebration, Fresh Start is back for a three-day adventure among three indoor and outdoor stages on December 30th – January 1st for you to experience both the stars and stunning lasers. Celebrate the new beginning of 2024 with breathtaking performers.

Fresh Start is basically the only event that runs into the New Year, keeping the party going on New Year's Day with headlining performances from Kaskade, Chris Lorenzo, and Justin Martin

On the 30th, Tchami and Malaa present the highly anticipated 'Return Of No Redemption', for what is sure to be a prolific b2b. Preceding them is another solid b2b from tech house sensations, ACRAZE and Noizu.

Countdown NYEWith this year's theme of Attack of the Lazer-Rayz, it is objectively known that Insomniac's beloved Countdown NYE festival never disappoints. On December 30th and 31st, Los Angeles's NOS Event Center will become home to an interstellar environment of every type of sound across electronic music.

Although it has yet to be officially announced, we are putting our money on the following acts locking down the main stage: Tiësto, Gryffin, Alison Wonderland, The Chainsmokers, Deorro, Seven Lions, Porter Robinson, NGHTMRE, Slushii, Oliver Heldens, and Valentino Khan.

On the house and techno side of things, Countdown is hosting FISHER, J. Worra b2b Miane, Adam Beyer, Noizu b2b Joshwa, Morten, Township Rebellion, Matroda, Matt Sassari, Patrick Topping, and the list goes on. Then, in the region of bass, ravers will have the opportunity to witness the likes of SVDDEN DEATH, APASHE, G Jones, Ray Volpe b2b Crankdat, Zingara, and Riot Ten.

1) Decadence – Colorado AND Decadence – Arizona

Decadence remains as one of the largest NYE festivals in the world, held in a gigantic arena known as The Colorado Convention Center. This December 30th-31st, Decadence returns as Decadence: The Digital City. Joining forces with the Digital City is ILLENIUM, Galantis, Ganja White Night, Malaa, FISHER, Sofi Tukker, Two Friends, Skrillex, SIDEPIECE, John Summit, and Zeds Dead, among many other prolific performers.

Decadence Arizona is also back and better than ever, but this time as Decadence Arizona: The Sky Realm! Adventure Club b2b Flux Pavilion, SLANDER, Cosmic Gate, Bleu Clair b2b San Pacho, Disco Lines, Black Tiger Sex Machine, INZO, double-downers John Summit and ILLENIUM, and the remainder of this massive lineup take place on December 30th-31st at Phoenix Raceway.
