November was one celebration for the Trance Family! One weekend out of the year, Insomniac Events throw one euphoric weekend for all trance lovers in Southern California.
Trance lovers come from all over the country to experience a state of trance with all fellow ravers. This year at Dreamstate USA, iEDM.com experienced epic and anticipated sets from trance stars like Vini Vici, Ben Nicky, Craig Connelly and so much more.

10. John O’ Callaghan
This DJ opened with tracks like Joint Operations Centre and closing with Simon Patterson's track “Us”. John O' Callaghan played a soulful set that coheres a laser light show at the Dream day 2. Catch John O Callien at your next trance event.
9. Craig Connelly
You better have made your way to the Vision stage early on into the night for this one. Craig Connelly is not one to skip out on if you’re a fan of dreamy vocals and hard hitting basslines. The visuals on his set made you feel out of this world with its eye tricking green and blue schemes. Make sure to catch him at your next Dreamstate if you missed him this year.
8. Liquid Soul
Did you follow the Sequence day 2 ? Was your soul taken by Liquid Soul? With remixes he dropped like Ovnimoon and collaborations he has done with Captain Hook, Liquid Soul did probably take away as many souls Rezz did that night at the Shrine in LA. With hard hitting galactic melodies pounding from the speakers to the stage, Liquid Soul is no trance music to take lightly.
7. Gareth Emery
One major anticipated set for Dreamstate 2018 is the one and only Gareth Emery. Dropping original tracks such as “Call to Arms” and “Mansion” this uplifting melodic set was sure unforgettable. "Laser face" got into your face to this most outer realm set Saturday at the Dream stage.
6. Blastoyz
Blastoyz sure gave everyone a BLAST! With an official remix he produced for Vini Vici and Coming Soon! "Mad," Blastoyz destroyed the Sequence stage day 2.He also dropped an amazing collab with Seven Lions on Ophelia Record. This crazy laser light show was a show of a lifetime.
5. Cold Blue
Cold Blue's set day 2 at the Vision stage was unforgettable. Crowd went wild when Cold Blue dropped his Zaag edit by Egbert. This galactic purple and blue light show was one you definitely want to get lost into. Catch Cold blue at your next trance event.
4. Paul Van Dyk
This trance legend Paul Van Dyke threw down a set full of his classics such as his track "Mission Control" and "Lost Angels." Paul's set consisted of new music from Reverse, R3dub, Escea and more. Paul Van Dyke closed the night day 2. What a way to end a perfect weekend.
3. Ganesh
Ganesh playing day 1 at the Vision stage was refreshing. From dropping tracks from Rudazz, Technikal, UCast, as well as Ganesh’s collab with Rj Van new music you want to hear. This underground artist sure is on the rise and one can say it was an eclectic set. This dynamic set that you will remember. Its only the beginning for Ganesh.
2. Vini Vici
This legendary dynamic duo never fails to put on one of the best psytrance shows ever. Israeli duo ,Vini Vici ,stormed the crowd with their outrageous collabs including Great Spirit with Armin van Buuren and Hiight Tribe. Vini vici visuals were definitely out of this world. Vini Vici throws down every time!
1. Ben Nicky
Finally, the man that turned trance into a party. Trance all star of 2018, Ben Nicky dropped tracks from hardstyle, big room drops and hardpsy all in one major performance. Ben Nicky threw down Gommi's remix of "Edge" by Rezz, Gammer's "Needed You,"his own famous remix of Alya, and more. No doubt most fun set of the weekened. If you weren’t at Ben Nicky's set Friday at midnight, you sure missed out on one of the best sets at Dreamstate Socal.
