10 Artists You Must See At Bonnaroo 2018

| May 30, 2018

We are excited to be joining all of our fellow Bonnaroovians on the farm this year, and the lineup has us counting down the days. From raves to rock shows, this four-day event has something for everyone's taste. Filled with good vibes, beautiful art, and amazing music, this festival is the highlight of many people's year.

Since its debut in 2002, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has reached an annual attendance of 80,000 festy goers, year after year giving us legendary acts and has received many mentions from notable outlets. The venue, Great Stage Park, is a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee that serves as a perfect host for the extraordinary event.

This year's acts, again, has our jaws dropping. We are eager to see everyone on the lineup and coming up with a list of 10 was almost impossible. There are many talents that we recommend you don't miss, but here are the 10 Artists You Must See At Bonnaroo 2018.

1. The Glitch Mob

This trio is known for delivering their beats through unforgettable live performances. During their sets, they use props designed by movie set designers, which house lights and instruments. That allows The Glitch Mob to deliver a unique experience that stands apart from the rest.

Their glitch-based music finds its roots in electronica but is more evolved. They've been selling out venues across the nation and have become a festival favorite. See Without Eyes, The Glitch Mob's newest album, just dropped last month too. It's number one for a reason. Don't miss it!

2. Bassnectar

For those of you who have never been to a Nectar show, you will find people that have been to hundreds and still haven't gotten tired of it. It's different every single time. No one show is like the other. Some people are going to Roo just to catch this set. If you like bass and mind-blowing shows that you'll never forget, follow the bassheads to Which Stage Friday night!

3. CloZee

Based in Toulouse, France this world-renowned artist has toured internationally numerous times. Her music is full of electronic sounds but also resonates on a natural and organic level with tones that could be described as tribal. Her exotic style makes you want to move, and you'll feel it in your soul.

4. Kaskade

He's been DJing since the 90's and one of EDM's OGs. Kaskade is loved for his house and down-tempo vibes along with the shows he's been lighting up the world with. Multiple times he has received America's Best DJ Award. In his music, you will find beautiful female vocals and electronic melodies that will stick with you.  He's perfected his talent, been headlining festivals for years, and it's a performance you don't want to miss.

5. Paramore

This American rock band took over the MP3 players of many students in the early 2000s and is the epitome of their younger years. They started the band in high school and now Paramore still continues to drop hits that are played on radio stations throughout the world. Lead singer Hayley Williams, adored by all fans, Taylor York, and Zac Farro have come a long way from their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee and are coming home to rock their home state this year at Bonnaroo.

6. Khalid

This young star has risen to the top very quickly with his single "Location" topping charts and being nominated for various awards, including a Grammy. He released his debut album called American Teen just last year, that also included one of his most well-known songs "Young Dumb and Broke". Not stopping there, he was also featured in "1-800-273-8255" another peaking song by Logic. We are excited for his set this year, but also to see just how far Khalid goes in music.

7. Fletcher

This girl can sing like an angel. Her debut single released in 2015 and she's been on a roll ever since. In 2016 she dropped her EP Finding Fletcher which included "Wasted Youth" that's reached millions of views and has made Cari Fletcher very influential in the LGBT community, as she welcomed her girlfriend to be part of the music video. She openly speaks out about her sexuality and wants it to be normalized for the next generation. We are looking forward to seeing what her performance is like.

8. What So Not

This project was created by Emoh Instead and Flume with a debut EP in 2011. Emoh Instead took over the project in 2015 and has still given his fans the music we love since. What So Not has released music on OWSLA and Sweat It Out. That in itself speaks for his music.

9. Virtual Self

Virtual Self is Porter Robinson's latest audio-visual project that's taking his music back to a 90's – early 2000s electro house style. It's abrasive and fast-paced. So, bring your dance shoes! As to where Porter's music is melodic and emotional, Virtual Self is more for warehouse rave fist pounding. It'll be a show full of energy!

10. Rebelution

This band was started in college by five friends who shared a mutual passion for music, four of them sticking with it. They started by playing local shows in California and all graduated from the same college. They've collaborated for over a decade now and released several albums that topped billboards. Their reggae music is even known for getting people into the genre. You won't regret making a trip to see their set.

Of course it was a tough decision choosing these 10 with Eminem, The Killers, Muse, Atl-J, Dua Lipa, Sheryl Crow, The Revivalists, Chromeo, STS9, Alison Wonderland, Moon Taxi, Carnage, Playboi Carti, Kayzo, Slander, Hippie Sabotage, Big Wild, Shiba San, Opiuo, Chris Lake, Space Jesus, Manic Focus, Boogie T, Said The Sky, Elohim, and many more on the lineup.

We hope that everyone has good Roo! We'll see you there. Don't forget to bring you're A-game because we will be looking for the Top Ten Totems Of Bonnaroo again this year.
