EDM Festivals in Florida 2026 and 2027: Dates, Venues and What to Pack

EDM festivals in Florida run from fall straight through spring, and seven have confirmed dates between October 2026 and April 2027. III Points, Suwannee Hulaween and EDC Orlando close out this year. Groove Cruise, Sunset On The River, Ultra and Forbidden Kingdom fill the first months of 2027.

Every date below comes from the festival's own site, checked in September 2026. Okeechobee gets its own note because its 2027 dates are not out yet.

Which Florida EDM Festivals Are Left in 2026?

Three Florida festivals still have 2026 dates: III Points in October, Suwannee Hulaween the following weekend and EDC Orlando in early November.

III Points, Miami: October 16 to 17, 2026

III Points takes over Mana Wynwood, a five-block venue in the heart of Miami's Wynwood neighborhood, for two days. Its lineup crosses house, techno, R&B and hip hop. Four Tet, Adam Port, Kelela, Lil Kim and horsegiirL are among the names announced so far.

Miami is still warm in mid-October, so this is a festival for light layers and breathable fabrics rather than anything heavy.

Suwannee Hulaween, Live Oak: October 22 to 25, 2026

Suwannee Hulaween fills the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park for four days, and its passes include camping. The music blends jam bands with bass and electronic acts, led by Pretty Lights, Excision and host band The String Cheese Incident.

Premium campsites, glamping and RV packages cost extra, and an early camping pass lets you arrive from 2 PM on Tuesday, October 20. It lands the weekend before Halloween, which is why it also leads our list of Halloween EDM festivals.

North Florida nights can turn cool in late October, so pack a hoodie for the walk back to camp.

EDC Orlando: November 6 to 8, 2026

Insomniac brings EDC Orlando back to Tinker Field for three days, with five stages and more than 100 artists. David Guetta, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, Hardwell and Mau P top the lineup, with SLANDER, Alesso and Alan Walker also booked.

For a place to stay, Hotel EDC runs November 6 to 9 at Margaritaville Resort Orlando. The package includes EDC-themed rooms plus access to daytime parties and after-parties.

Which Florida EDM Festivals Have 2027 Dates?

Four festivals have already posted 2027 dates, starting with Groove Cruise in January and ending with Forbidden Kingdom in late April.

Groove Cruise Miami: January 21 to 25, 2027

Groove Cruise sails from Miami on Royal Caribbean's newly renovated Allure of the Seas, with 96 hours of music across 13 stages. More than 100 artists are promised, though the 2027 lineup has not been named yet.

Your cabin replaces the campsite, so pack for sun on deck by day and long nights of music after dark.

Sunset On The River, Tampa: February 20 to 21, 2027

Sunset Music Festival was Tampa's Memorial Day tradition for over a decade, and it returns in 2027 with a new name, date and format. Sunset On The River moves to Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park as a smaller, 21 and over event with limited attendance.

No artists have been announced yet, so check back closer to February.

Ultra Music Festival, Miami: March 26 to 28, 2027

Ultra Music Festival returns to Bayfront Park in downtown Miami for three days next March. Tickets are not on sale yet, but you can join the waitlist on the festival's site.

Afternoon sun in Miami is strong even in March, so plan a breathable outfit, a hat and plenty of water.

Forbidden Kingdom, Orlando: April 23 to 25, 2027

Forbidden Kingdom fills the Central Florida Fairgrounds with five stages of bass music and more than 100 artists and performers. The lineup has not been announced.

Tickets come in GA, GA+ and VIP tiers, and a layaway plan lets you pay for your pass over time.

Is Okeechobee Happening in 2027?

Okeechobee has not posted 2027 dates yet. The festival mixes lineups from many genres with art installations and acres of nature. Its official site is the place to watch for the dates.

Which Florida EDM Festival Should You Pick?

Start with the dates that fit your calendar, then pick the kind of weekend you want. A city festival like III Points or Ultra is the easiest first trip, since you sleep in a hotel and skip the camping gear. Hulaween suits people who want four days outdoors with friends.

Forbidden Kingdom is the pick if bass is your genre, and EDC Orlando brings a full Insomniac weekend with a hotel package. Groove Cruise swaps the field for a ship, while Sunset On The River suits a smaller, 21 and over crowd.

Which Florida Festivals Moved or Changed?

A few festivals from older Florida lists no longer run in the state. Countdown's Orlando edition was a one-off for New Year's 2022, and the event is back in San Bernardino, California.

Skyline started in Orlando in 2021 and now takes place in Downtown Los Angeles at Gloria Molina Grand Park. For Dirtybird fans, the label's festival now runs as Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights at Cook's Valley Campground in California.
