10 New EDM Releases To Listen To This Week

It's been a great week for music, with a ton of new releases by artists from every end of the EDM spectrum. We've rounded up our top ten picks for this week that you have to give a listen to.

Many of these artists are also currently (or soon to be) on tour, so keep an eye on your local EDM calendar. Links to the tracks can be found in the titles. 

 

1. Valentino Khan- Gold

Gold combines Sean Paul's rapid-fire vocals with a surprisingly light beat from Valentino Khan.This new track also appears on the album companion soundtrack to Major Lazer’s forthcoming documentary, Give Me FutureMajor Lazer Presents: Give Me Future—Music From and Inspired by the Film features new and unreleased music from Major Lazer, Diplo and more. 

 

 

2. Getter- Big Mouth

Getter combines a fun (almost arcade-esque) sound with his signature heavy dubstep in his new single Big Mouth. Getter is currently touring around the United States on his Big Mouth tour, so you can be sure that this new banger will be sure to see a lot of airtime. 3. Seven Lions and Kill the Noise- Cold-Hearted

This highly anticipated single has been teased for more than half a year already and has seen a lot of airtime. The bassy collaboration has (and will continue to) see a lot of playtime during the Horizon Tour. The new track is a beautiful blend of the two producers' different and complementary styles. With soaring vocals, heavy drops and melodic builds, the stylings of both Seven Lions and Kill the Noise can be heard throughout the track. Check out our review of Horizon Tour HERE

 

 

4. Ephwurd feat. Jvst Say Yes- Funky Beats

One of the EDM's favorite bass duos, Ephwurd brings out a bassy banger in Phunky Beats, featuring JVST SAY YES. The duo (made up of bass masters Datsik and Baishaus) released their new track earlier in October. The new track was dropped on Ephwurd's new label EPH'D UP RECORDS. iEDM had a chance to catch up with Ephwurd at EDC this year, read the exclusive interview HERE.

 

 

5. Tchami and Malaa- The Sermon

As two of the biggest names in future house, when Tchami and Malaa team up, we all know good things will happen. The Sermon is the newest track by the two French producers and appears on their collaborative EP No Redemption. Tchami and Malaa will also be embarking on a titular tour this month. 6. Above and Beyond- Northern Soul

Above and Beyond's new album "Common Ground" is one of the most anticipated albums of the new year. The trance legends have been teasing tracks from the new album throughout the year, and have released Tight Rope and My Own Hymn, singles on the album. Northern Soul is the next release from the album, featuring Richard Bedford. In addition to the new album, Above and Beyond will be embarking on a Common Ground tour in 2018. Mark your calendars! 

 

 

7. KRANE & SLUMBERJACK- Hollow

KRANE and SLUMBERJACK's newest collaboration is a heavy trappy single. Hollow is featured on KRANE's newest album Fallout. The new single is a dark and bassy track that you won't want to miss. SLUMBERJACK is currently on tour supporting Troyboi, check out upcoming dates HERE

 

 

8. Markus Schulz presents Dakota- The Spirit of the Warrior (Transmission 2017 Theme)

Markus Schulz drops his newest release under his Dakota alias and The Spirit of the Warrior will be the Transmission 2017 theme. For those unfamiliar with Transmision, it is a show in Prague (Saturday, November 25) that is one arena and one stage. The event is exceptionally intimate and Markus is a Transmission veteran. iEDM had the chance to chat with Markus about his Dakota project, check out the exclusive interview HERE

 

 

9. Ben Gold- Kingdoms

Ben Gold's newest trance track is short, but the track is energetic from start to finish. The trance veteran's new track has been teased for months by the likes of Armin van Buuren. After it was first dropped at Tomorrowland, fans wanted to know who made the track and what the track was called. Ben Gold has answered these questions and presented the Tune of the Week on ASOT838- Kingdoms. 

 

 

10. Gryffin- Nobody Compares To You

Gryffin's newest track has seen significant airtime during his Castle In The Sky Tour and features the haunting vocals of Katie Pearlman.
