“TACTICAL NUKE” arrives as the latest example of GHENGAR’s increasingly distinctive approach to bass music, one that continues blurring the boundaries between gaming culture, metal, and modern dubstep.

While gaming references have become commonplace across electronic music, few artists have integrated them as deeply into their creative identity as GHENGAR, whose latest release doubles down on the aesthetic that has helped define the project's recent evolution.

The track wastes little time establishing its atmosphere. Eerie effects and ominous textures quickly give way to an aggressive buildup driven by vocal chants, distorted bass layers, and mounting tension.

As the arrangement reaches its breaking point, listeners are greeted by one of the most recognizable phrases in gaming history: the iconic Call of Duty Zombies sample, “FETCH ME THEIR SOULS,” before the record detonates into a barrage of tearout-infused dubstep.

Rather than functioning as a simple nostalgic callback, the gaming references feel purposefully woven into the composition.

Additional Zombies horde samples appear throughout the track, reinforcing its theme while allowing the sound design and low-end impact to remain the primary focus.

From a production standpoint, the release showcases many of the elements that have defined GHENGAR’s recent direction. Raw metal screams, punishing bass design, and relentless pacing combine to create a record built specifically for live environments.

The second drop introduces new vocal elements and fresh rhythmic variations while maintaining the intensity established throughout the first half.
