| April 05, 2019

Women's history month may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean we have to stop celebrating. There's still plenty of opportunity to honor the all the kickass women in both our lives and EDM.

As the weather starts warming up, we still have plenty of festivals lined up for you to check out these female artists who are killing the rave scene.

SF native and LA resident DUCKY has been making splashes with her kawaii out-of-this-world aesthetic and futuristic bangers. She developed an interest in music early on, discovering the world of production at 13 and beginning to DJ at 14. Gaining popularity through posting tracks on Tumblr, DUCKY plays and produces a spectrum of genres, ranging from warehouse styles to ambient sounds. Named Billboard Dance's One to Watch, CRAY and her electronic-pop style are gearing up to be hot commodities as she continues to develop her sound, from trap roots to a softer, more chilled-out pop leaning electronic music. The singer-songwriter/producer is signed to the same management team as Steve Aoki and blink-182 and has plenty of new music in the works. Her recent single "Fractions" displays her foray into an ambient style and vocal ability.
