Five Years at Ultra Europe with Another Five on the Way

| August 10, 2017

As for any festival, global conquest is not an easy task. Even with the failed efforts of big name festivals like TomorrowLand and MysteryLand expansion to the US on their radar, Ultra has proven that it is still possible. Now in over 20 countries around the world, this American-bred festival is recognized as one of the best.

Over 120,000 festival attendees from over 148 countries care together in Split, Croatia to get at Ultra Europe's week long 5th anniversary. Along with the opening party and the beach party, Ultra Europe's main event featured four stages with some of the best names in the industry.

In addition to Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, and Hardwell closing out the mainstage each night, the RESISTANCE stage closes out each night with top of the line performances like Dubfire B2B Nicole Moudaber, Carl Cox, and Sasha & John Digweed. However, the opening acts are not to be ignored. Day and night, acts such as Fedde Le Grand, Orjan Nilsen, W&W, Afrojack, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Axwell ^ Ingroso, Steve Angello, Nicky Romero, Steve Aoki, and much more wowed the audience in their rave wear

iEDM got the chance to sit down with several artists at Ultra Europe for exclusive interviews. Check out the exclusive interviews at Ultra with Orjan Nilsen HERE, Fedde Le Grand HERE, and  W&W HERE.

Ultra's ever so famous live stream reached the sights of over 3.3 million people around the globe, and each year the festival continues to get better and better. So much, that the good people at Poljud Stadium in Split signed a contract with Ultra Europe for another five years of partying. So if you missed your chance this year, it's not too late.

As they continue to build the Ultra name with big time performances, incredible production, and an experience of a lifetime, the community of festival-goers continues to grow. Ultra Europe is confirmed to return to Split July 6-8, 2018.
