FNGRS CRSSD Announces Otherworldly House + Techno Lineup for CRSSD Festival 2022

| September 14, 2022

FNGRS CRSSD’s largest annual festival, CRSSD Festival is returning to San Diego on September 23-24 for the 2022 iteration of this legendary event. Hosted at the fan-favorite Waterfront Park venue, CRSSD is likely to draw its largest crowd of the year to kick off the Fall festival season in Southern California. The rapidly expanding event organizer has mastered both venue selection and lineup curation, consistently surpassing the high expectations of its fans. CRSSD Festival 2022 is projected to be no different as respected collective FNGRS CRSSD has provided an impeccable lineup for its target audience of house and techno audiophiles.

The Fall festival will feature over 40 world-renowned artists split across three stages over two days. Standout sets include ARTBAT, AC Slater, Dom Dolla, Fatboy Slim, Testpilot, Mochakk, Fred Again.., Wax Motif, Franky Wah, and Reinier Zonneveld (live). This group of artists features an encapsulation of house and techno subgenres, as well as a variety of experience levels– from 90s legends to future superstars. Fatboy Slim’s long standing techno mastery will take the stage, following his decades of notoriety and popular appearance in Netflix’s documentary regarding Woodstock ‘99. His set is a gift to anyone wishing to experience an authentic taste of the famed ‘90s rave scene. In similar fashion, Deadmau5 alternate alias Testpilot will present the heavier technical side to Joel Zimmerman’s craft. Additionally, techno listeners will appreciate the modern Ukrainian duo ARTBAT’s inclusion in CRSSD 2022, masters of both melodic and industrial styles of techno. To continue, Franky Wah will grace the CDJs with his uniquely divine composition featuring ambient techno with next-level melodies that send chills through crowds. Great examples of Wah’s style include hits "The World You See" with Cristoph and Artche, "Under the Sun" with AR/CO, and "Not in Love". Newer Brazilian tech-house artist Mochakk is projected to take the scene by storm, thrilling fans with his incredible stage presence and signature dance moves.

Possibly the most exciting set of the weekend will undoubtedly be Fred Again.., who has recently re-exploded into headlines following his mind-blowing Boiler Room set. Crowds will be anticipating his two hit singles, "Turn On the Lights Again" with Swedish House Mafia and Future, and the unreleased "Rumble" featuring Skrillex and Four Tet. Fred Again.. has created massive waves within the dance music industry in 2022. His new music has been some of the most sought-after by the community, reaching #6 on Beatport’s Top 100 and #1 in UK garage. Last but certainly not least, house giants Wax Motif, AC Slater and Dom Dolla never fail to keep audiences dancing throughout the entire duration of their sets. Although FNGRS CRSSD typically only books producers within house and techno genres, each name on the CRSSD Festival lineup offers a completely unique flair. With the variety of names attached to CRSSD, the 2022 event may come closest to an accurate microcosm of the worldwide house and techno powerhouse.

With the meticulously planned lineup and projected attendance, CRSSD is likely to be the largest San Diego dance music festival of the year. Fans can expect to enjoy a weekend of great music backed by beautiful weather at a picturesque venue on the harbor. CRSSD Festival will be a two-day experience in paradise– an idyllic kickoff to the upcoming Fall season.
