Throughout the summer season, GRAMMY-winning artist NITTI unleashed multiple viral remixes of iconic rock and metal anthems, such as Slipknot’s “Duality,” and System of a Down’s “Chop Suey!”

NITTI then kicked off fall by officially debuting his rocktronic era, dropping original collaborations such as “Stay Away,” with producer OUTRAGE and metal vocalist Micah Martin, and his latest emo-future bass track “White Knuckles,” featuring up-and-coming alt-metal artist BRAYTON.

Continuing to push the limits of the rocktronic space and be at the forefront of this rising movement, NITTI is back with an official cover of Linkin Park’s legendary hit, “Numb.”

Relative to his other more recent remixes, “Numb” went viral towards the end of January when NITTI shared a video of his friends listening to it for the first time in his car, which has racked up over 9 Million views and 540,000 likes on Instagram.

Fast-forward to a few days later, and the “Numb” remix once again went viral again, this time on TikTok, when NITTI posted another car clip announcing that the official audio is available to use on the platform.

Not only was this major validation for NITTI’s decision to return to roots and embrace his most genuine self as an artist, but it has led to a special cover, out now to NITTI’s ALT/RAVE label. It is dedicated to honor the memory of Linkin Park’s late-frontman, Chester Bennington.

Diving into the cover, NITTI shared, “I have always loved Linkin Park and obviously everyone in the world is familiar with the song ‘Numb,’ but I wanted a version I could play at my shows to get everyone going crazy. I know after Chester’s passing, it is a touchy song to remix, yet I genuinely am inspired to make more music from people like him and the band. My intention was to put my own spin on their original hit as a thanks to all Chester gave to us as fans.”

Teaming up with rock and metal-based singer, Dakota, it seems only right that NITTI discovered this ascending superstar from his viral vocal performances of Linkin Park’s biggest songs and other noteworthy tracks. Many listeners have even called him a “young Chester” and said his singing would make Chester proud.

With Linkin Park launching their tour with new co-lead singer, Emily Armstrong, and co-founding member, Mike Shinoda, this electrifying bass house cover could not have arrived at a better time. Similar to “Stay Away” and “White Knuckles,” it is paired with a high-quality music video, incorporating clips of NITTI’s touring adventures, set highlights, and more.

Prior to this exciting chapter in his career, NITTI's vast credentials include a Grammy nomination for “On My Mind,” co-producing Latin Grammy award-winning “200 MPH,” with Bad Bunny and Diplo, and collaborations with luminaries such as Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, and DIESEL (Shaq). His discography spans across labels like Spinnin’, Musical Freedom, and Insomniac Records.

This year, he is striving to spread his true musical identity and versatile production skill-set to both long-time NITTI fans and new listeners.

Hot off closing out his summer tour, in partnership with Monster Energy, “Numb” adds to the list of groundbreaking releases NITTI has put out in the rocktronic universe over the last few months.

He plans on furthering his mission to break sonic barriers with more infectious rock and metal collaborations, assembling his team of musical pioneers and carving out his own lane in the dance scene.
