Movement Festival Proves Detroit As The Techno Capital Year After Year
The city of Detroit came alive this Memorial Day weekend as it held its 12th annual Movement Electronic Music Festival in downtown Detroit Hart Plaza. With temperatures that elevated into the 90s, thousands of festival-goers shuffled their from one stage to another.
The festival brought in Electronic Music fans from all over to celebrate the birthplace of Techno along some great afterparties that included appearances from Chris Lake, Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber and more.
Nearly 90 artists performed across five stages through the 3-day festival. Claude VonStroke, Loco Dice b2b The Martinez Brothers, Eats Everything, Seth Troxler, and Joseph Capriati, were just a few artists who brought this year's festivals up a notch.
Another thing that we can't overlook this year is how many female DJs of dominated the festival. Every single of them, Aurora Halal, Hito, Charlotte De Witte, Nastia, Avalon Emerson, were all absolutely outstanding.
