North Coast Music Festival Announces Hypnotic 2022 Lineup With Jai Wolf, Illenium, KAYTRANADA + More

It is no secret that there is undeniable energy surrounding Chicago’s EDM scene. As the birthplace of house music, the famous "Windy City" has established itself as a haven for DJs, producers, and dance music fans alike. Harnessing that all-encompassing wholesome aura, electrifying music, and community, North Coast Music Festival has curated an immersive festival experience like none other. Returning to SeatGeek Stadium this Labor Day Weekend from September 2-4, Coasties can expect a deeply diverse lineup, impeccable stage production, and interactive art installations designed to spark your imagination as you embark on a mystifying journey through sound and vibrations.

With a strong intent to pay tribute to the historic Chicago house scene while simultaneously sprinkling in the experimental sounds of the future, North Coast has created one of the most vastly diverse lineups of the year. Showcasing the very best across a plethora of genres, from bass to trance, house, and everything in between, North Coast has something for everyone. Spanning through four unique stages, get ready to lose yourself with otherworldly performances, artist takeovers, and more. 

For the Coasties who cannot get enough of house, prepare for epic performances from the likes of CID, Lp Giobbi, Yotto, FISHER, Diplo, Solarado, and the highly anticipated B2B between Tchami and Malaa. If you love trance and electronica, attendees can get lost in the sounds of Armin Van Burren, Porter Robinson, Madeon, and Gryffin.

If earth-shattering bass is more your style, expect to get blasted into the unknown with a stacked line of artists known for wonky wubs, heavy bass, and dirty drops. From the Subtronics’ Cyclops Rec Takeover featuring Boogie T, Dirt Monkey, Level Up, and more to Mersiv, Maurda, SVDDEN DEATH, and Must Die!, bass heads should prepare for a transcendental mind-melting experience. Of course, an EDM festival is not complete without that euphoric pull of melodic bass. Attendees can expect to crybang themselves to bliss through the beautiful yet heavy sounds of Illenium, Seven Lions, Said The Sky, Wooli, and William Black.

Not only is North Coast known for booking the top artists throughout the world, but the festival serves as a showcase for Chicago’s best and brightest rising talent emerging from the underground. With performances from artists like Sherm, Flyninnho, Jakeshoredrive, and more, don’t be surprised if you catch a glimpse of the next big star emerging from the underground.
