As the dance music epidemic continues to take over the country, the number of newer and better venues keeps growing.

Good news for all the EDM lovers looking to break their record for most shows in a year because the spaces to rage out are more diverse and innovative than ever. From high-class sound systems to production you thought you'd only find at festivals, these venues are breaking boundaries. 

This list of the hottest 2020 new venues across all the major U.S. cities will call for a nation-wide road trip.

New York City 

10. Webster Hall

The legendary NYC venue that has hosted the likes of Skrillex, LCD Soundsystem and countless others is officially reopening in Spring 2019 after two years of renovations. Having booked diverse and massive talent in the past, the new Webster Hall is anticipated to have less dance nights, but more concerts. 

9. Avant Gardner / The Brooklyn Mirage

Along with a number of Brooklyn nightclubs and venues, Avant Gardner is one of the big-shots paving the way for Brooklyn as the primary scene for the electronic music in New York. Home to two indoor spaces, Kings Hall and Great Hall and the massive outdoor area Brooklyn Mirage which permanently opened in Summer 2017, the popular venue has been played by names like Porter Robinson, Above & Beyond, DJ Snake and hosted full-scale events like Elrow, The Cityfox Experience and Anjunadeep. 

8. Elsewhere

A mix of live music, art and cultural risk-taking, Elsewhere provides the ultimate immersive experience for those looking to step outside their comfort zone and discover new talent in an intimate setting. Located in Bushwick, the multi-purpose venue has several spaces including two dance areas, a loft with coffee, wifi and snacks and two outdoor spaces (one dedicated to installations and one with rooftop events). Elsewhere is also a hot LBGT-friendly spot.

Atlanta 

7. Believe Music Hall

One of Atlanta's newest music venues, Believe contains four distinct event spaces arranged over three levels with two stages, a mezzanine and two outdoor terraces. With the grandiose church exterior and skyline views of the city, Believe will be a contender for one of the best local venues. Backed by top Atlanta promoter Iris Presents, Believe has welcomed Subtronics and Blunts & Blondes, Illenium, Laidback Luke, Wolfgang Gartner, Adventure Club and more. 

Denver

6. Temple Denver

Roots originally from San Francisco, Temple Nightclub opened doors to its second location October 2017 to an ecstatic EDM crowd. The three-story space is adorned with 50,000 LED lights, plenty of neon decor, a 14-foot disco ball and a Funktion One sound system that elevates the whole experience to another level. In less than two years, Temple Denver has already seen the likes of DJs like NERO, Claude VonStroke, Afrojack, Valentino Khan, Yellow Claw and will continue to expect names like ATB, Lil Jon and Borgore. 

San Francisco 

5. The Midway

Located in SF's Dogpatch neighborhood, The Midway is a true multi-purpose creative space that combines curated art with live music and emerging technologies. Doubled as both a performance venue and creative resource center, The Midway is a one-of-a-kind experience to explore the local nuances of entertainment and culinary creativity that San Francisco has to offer. The venue has previously hosted Carl Cox, Infected Mushroom, Sasha & John Digweed, Bonobo, Gorgon City, Claude VonStroke and is set to have Ferry Corsten, Anjunabeats and more in 2019. 

4. Audio 

Located in SF's SOMA district, the local and DJ favorite club underwent massive renovations in 2017, employing a Funktion One sound system and 1600 LED wall for a hard-hitting combination of highest tier sound quality and light production. With a vibrating floor and 3D surround sound, Audio offers an insane immersive experience for those looking to get their underground electronic music fix in. Upcoming events include Madeaux, Cristoph, Oliver Heldens, Sofi Tukker x Animal Talk and Jody Wisternoff. 

Las Vegas

3. OMNIA

The gigantic nightclub that opened in 2015 continues to reign as one of the best places in Las Vegas to party or see famous DJs spin. Its stacked 2019 roster welcomes back Tiësto for his seventh year as resident headliner, Zedd for his second year, and other top artists like Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki and more. Alongside OMNIA's signature 22,000 pound ceiling chandelier, state-of-the-art sound technology and headlining DJs, OMNIA is the essence of a Las Vegas night out. 

Los Angeles 

2. 1720

The gritty warehouse venue opened its doors early 2017 with the efforts of Alex Alereza, Powell and Travis Richter, the geniuses behind the Brownies & Lemonade crew. Located in Los Angeles' Warehouse District, 1720 and its industrial aesthetic paired with state-of-the-art production makes for nothing short of a modernized underground party. Loaded with a full kitchen, craft drinks and live music genres from punk, metal to rap and techno, 1720 is a venue to watch. Some upcoming shows include Bleep Bloop, Com Truise, and Gab Rhome b2b Kora & Luca Musto. 

Miami 

1. Do Not Sit On the Furniture

Started by local Miami DJs Behrouz and Will Renuart, Do Not Sit On the Furniture is a club thats name says it all. With a sole focus on the music, the cozy venue shines in its dedication to underground talent in comparison to the rest of the EDM Miami scene. Artists like Felix Da Housecat, Onur Özer and David Hohme are just a few of many that have played.
