10) Fresh Start – San Francisco, CA 

Midway’s annual New Year celebration, Fresh Start, is back for a two-day adventure on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day so you to experience both DJ superstars and stunning lasers.

Fresh Start is one of the few festivals that runs into the New Year, with it happening during the week, keeping the party going on New Year's Day with headlining performances from Chris Lake, ZHU, Disco Dom, and J. Worra. 

On the 31st, Charlotte de Witte will unleash techno bangers, and Cloonee is guaranteed to deliver a sunset set packed with sexy tech house grooves. Preceding them is Matroda, Wuki, The Blessed Madonna, Enrico Sangiuliano, and ESSEL.

9) Excision NYE 2025 – Miami, FL

Excision is taking is coveted New Year's party to Miami for two nights of ground-shaking dubstep. Kicking off on Friday, December 27th, night one includes performances from ATLiens, Ray Volpe, YOOKiE, and Cyclops.

Night two, Saturday the 28th, is equally stacked with high-energy sets from Space Laces, Dion Timmer, Calcium, and Benda.

8) Radiance – Grayslake, IL

Just beating out Excision's rager, Radiance NYE is another bass-focused festival that will deliver a hefty supply of mosh pits and deafening drops during NYE week.

Taking place on December 30th and 31st at Illinois's Lake County Fairgrounds, Monday will host Rezz, who plans on jolting us into 2025 with her one-of-a-kind style of hypnotic bass music.

7) Together As One NYE – Tacoma, WA

Together As One NYE is transitioning from two-day festival to one day this year, but that doesn't mean it isn't just as stacked as it was to end 2023. 

Taking place at the Tacoma Dome, the Pacific Northwest's EDM scene will be electrified by top-tier artists, such as Dom Dolla, Green Velvet, Prospa, Netsky, Imanu, Friction, Space 92, Klangkuenstler, and more.

6) HiJinx – Philadelphia, PA

Do you like bass in your face? In HiJinx fashion, headbanging and nasty bass faces are here to stay as you close out the end of 2024. December 27th-28th at Pennsylvania Convention Center schedules heavy-hitters Ganja White Night, ISOxo, Deathpact, Levity, and more.

There will also be four emphatic b2bs that attendees will never forget. Kaskade B2B Alison Wonderland are ready to have the crowd roaring in excitement, along with a lethal B2B with Subtronics and Zeds Dead.

Then one of the most thrilling collaborations of 2024, LSZEE (LSDREAM & CloZee) will hypnotize ravers with an unprecedented fusion of experimental bass and psychedelic visuals. Madeon B2B San Holo is sure to captivate the crowd as well.

5) Forever Midnight – Los Angeles, CA

Also shifting to a one-day festival – and only one lineup after taking place in both LA and Las Vegas last year – on New Year's Eve, Forever Midnight is dominating the west coast with a monstrous lineup.

At the Los Angeles Convention Center, doors will open at 4 PM and close at 4 AM, featuring the cream of the crop in hard techno, minimal house, and everything in between. 

Of the many standout artists, some of the most anticipated are Loco Dice, Paco Osuna, Adam Ten, Lilly Palmer, Boris Brejcha, Duke Dumont, Odd Mob, Max Styler, Tiësto, Sama' Abdulhadi, Jamie Jones, Diplo, Girl Math (VNSSA B2B Nala), and Adam Beyer. 

Personally, this is the #2 festival experience to reign in the New Year. But I wanted to leave all bias out of this curated selection, despite Forever Midnight being undeniably stacked.

4) Lights All Night - Dallas, TX

Lights All Night is the longest running EDM festival in Texas featuring three stages: The Metroplex, Disco Rodeo, and The Lonestar at Dallas Market Hall on December 28th and 29th.

Legendary bass acts like Black Tiger Sex Machine, Excision, Ganja White Night, MARAUDA, and Barclay Crenshaw  will take the stage to give you the ultimate New Year's experience in all of Texas.

Fast-rising new-age bass acts include Ray Volpe, ISOxo, ALLEYCVT, and Tape B, but this festival has will represent all the other electronic-based genres as well.

For DnB we have REAPER, Delta Heavy, and Friction, mainstream EDM encompasses Kaskade and Timmy Trumpet, and tech house will be repped by San Pacho, Calussa, Azzecca, Tita Lau, and Max Styler.

Covering hard and melodic techno is the likes of Cassian, FOVOS, Layton Giordani, and Eli Brown. There is a handful of additional sub-genres, which can be heard from CHYL, Audien, Zorza, and Moore Kismet, to name a few. Talk about going big or going home!

2) FNGRS CRSSD Presents: PROPER NYE / NYD – San Diego, CA

FNGRS CRSSD is known for their stellar lineup curation, specializing in the hottest house and techno names across the globe.

As CRSSD Fest gains more acclaim every year, FNGRS CRSSD presents CRSSD PROPER NYE at Petco Park on December 31st and January 1st. The lineup includes over 50 unique artists and four stages with top-notch sonic and visual production.

Keeping the reputation as hosting a refuge to techno fanatics and house lovers, Francis Mercier, Green Velvet, Cloonee, Dom Dolla, John Summit, Layton Giordani, salute, Luttrell, Kaskade, Elderbrook, Patrick Topping, Massane, AC Slater, AYYBO, Kasablanca, Lane 8 B2B Sultan + Shepard, Marsh, and Eric Prydz ignite this year’s inaugural NYE atmosphere at Petco.

They will share the stage by a diverse selection of riveting up-and-comers and veterans, from Oppidan and Rinzen, to DJ Tennis and Eli Brown.

1) Decadence – Colorado AND Decadence – Arizona

Decadence remains as one of the largest NYE festivals in the world, held in a gigantic arena known as The Colorado Convention Center.

This December 30th-31st, joining forces with the Digital City is Rezz, Morten, Liquid Stranger, Tchami x Malaa, MEDUZA B2B James Hype, The Glitch Mob, ILLENIUM B2B SLANDER, Elderbrook, Apashe, Chris Lake, Excision, and Ganja White Night, among many other prolific performers.

Decadence Arizona is also back and better than ever, but this time as Decadence Arizona: Age Of Indulgence!

Dom Dolla, Deadmau5, Excision, Tchami x Malaa, TROYBOI, WOOLI, EPTIC B2B Space Laces, Dr. Fresch B2B BIJOU, Zeds Dead, ISOxo, Deorro, Mau P, John Summit, SIDEPIECE, and the remainder of this massive lineup take place on December 30th-31st at Phoenix Raceway.
