10) Rezz
Whenever Rezz is on a lineup that iEDM is attending, she is almost guaranteed a spot on our top 10 artists list. This unrivaled bass queen has pioneered a completely new genre across electronic music, while giving a platform to blossoming innovators like herself.
She is still piping hot from her, IT'S NOT A PHASE EP that dropped in July. The compilation is a staple project from her recently launched label, HypnoVizion Records. Expect to hear Rezz blend some of these haunting anthems into her Imagine set.
9) Dillon Francis B2B Knock2
Known for his hilarious yet electrifying identity, Dillon Francis is a cherished veteran in the music industry. His house-fueled productions are consistently infectious and he has collabed with some of the biggest powerhouses in the EDM space, from Alesso to ILLENIUM.
Equally captivating is Knock2, whose presence has exploded for the entirety of 2023 so far. Hailing from San Diego, California, Knock2 has a knack for delivering club-ready weapons. His bass-packed library of songs merged with Dillon's mixing proficiency is a lethal combo.
8) JVNA
One of the most anticipated artists on Imagine's lineup, JVNA's project goes far beyond her mesmerizing music. A singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and DJ, she is clearly a mixed bag of talent.
Based in LA, JVNA fuses her passion for video games and other interests into her music videos and even the songs themselves at times. She possesses the incredible ability of forging a powerful theme throughout each one of her works.
Her upcoming album, Play With You, is dropping on Friday and will immerse partakers in a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Get ready to see JVNA put the LP on full display during her Imagine set!
7) SVDDEN DEATH: INTO THE INFERNO
With a name like SVDDEN DEATH, it is easy to assume that things are going to get hectic during his performance. Boasting a one-of-a-kind invigorating sound, SVDDEN DEATH and his alter-ego VOYD never fail to throw down haymakers of ground-shaking riddim.
In terms of official releases, SVDDEN DEATH has been fairly quiet since his breathtaking album, VOYD Vol. II, touched down last year. With 18 prolific dubstep bangers, he is locked in to weave a couple from the LP into his Imagine Into The Inferno set, along with stellar IDs.
6) Modapit
Modapit is one of the most mysterious and simultaneously alluring artists in today's realm of music. Welding together top-notch production, a myriad of genres, emotional visual components, and more, this anonymous visionary has shot up the festival circuit this year.
In the beginning of July, Modapit blessed music enthusiasts with his debut album, Devotion. The compilation is a cinametic and sonic masterpiece, strapping its audience in on an introspective journey through the universe that Modapit has created. His performance at Imagine is going to be an ethereal journey too.
5) John Summit
At this point, you are probably getting tired of hearing the name John Summit. But like it or not, this man is everywhere, from spine-tingling b2bs with Subtronics to three-day label takeovers at the Brooklyn Mirage.
Speaking of his label, John just rebranded Off The Grid to Experts Only Records, paying homage to his love for hitting the slopes and ski culture. Additionally, earlier this month he premiered his new electrifying event concept, Everything Always, with Dom Dolla, who will be playing the sunset slot at Imagine on Saturday.
4) Jade Cicada
A project birthed by Massachusetts native Skyler Golden, there is not much known about Jade Cicada other than his original music and live performances will transport you to another dimension. Jade's name references a symbol of rebirth and resurrection, along with the durable stone that insect replicas were carved from.
This year, Jade has resurrected his project with a reality-distorting album, Pressure Gamut. Only releasing cohesive EPs until now, Jade had been on a release hiatus since 2019. Now he is back and prepared to open his fans' third eyes with a mind-bending set at Imagine.
3) Elderbrook
Embodying a sound that is truly unparalleled, Elderbrook was born with a gift. On top of having a creative sense of product and high-end mixing skills, Elderbrook has a chilling voice that is just as good live as it is amongst his Spotify.
Closing out this past March, Elderbrook dropped Little Love, a beautiful album that draws on memories and sentiments from his personal life, while collaborating with the likes of Vintage Culture, Amtrac, and more. Since then, he has released 'Chill Mixes' for three of the songs on the LP that pull on the heartstrings of their audience.
T-1) Subtronics B2B Ganja White Night
As we near the peak of our list, the kingdom of bass music has taken over. This extremely special b2b and the one that follows could not be picked over one another, therefore ending in iEDM's first-ever tied top spot.
Subtronics and Ganja White Night are two of the most iconic artists in not only the bass scene, but EDM as a whole. Now, after joining forces a few months back on their long-awaited collaborative single, “Womp Portal”, they are uniting in person to blow the roof off Kingston Downs on Friday night.
T-1) NGHTMRE B2B DIESEL
Sharing the gold with the previously mentioned b2b is another one that is just as tantalizing. NGHTMRE is an artist that has secured a page or even a chapter in music history books. His resume includes labelboss of GudVibrations, a Las Vegas residency, thrilling sets at Ultra, Coachella, and Bonnaroo, and collaborations with ZHU, Gunna and Tory Lanez, to name a few.
DIESEL (aka Shaq) is fresh off the unveiling of his debut dubstep album, GORILLA WARFARE, which features bass superstars like Jessica Audiffred, Crankdat, Kompany, Rated R, and Hairitage. THIS IS 100% A SET YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS!
