10 Artists To Catch At CRSSD Spring 2019

CRSSD Festival recently announced the final phase around for their 2019 spring edition, coming into the festival's 5-year anniversary on March 2 & 3rd in San Diego's Waterfront Park. Get hyped for the spring edition of CRSSD as the festival will hand more than 40 acts across the event's three stages, highlighting the commitment to bringing cutting edge talent to California.

The final phase of CRSSD includes a very rare U.S. show from live Avante-Garde experimentalist David August, German rock-dance crossover live act Digitalism, genre-transcending house duo Booka Shade, nu-disco synth duo Classixx, Techno tastemaker social issues advocate B. Traits, plus Waze & Odyssey, Monika Kruse, Doc Martin, and Sahar Z. 

With a curated lineup, a venue that serves as the perfect playground for festival attendees, complete with ocean views, grassy landscapes, water features, and to top it all off, CRSSD spring edition offers ideal weather which makes the perfect destination for avid festival goers and newcomers to the electronic music scene.

10. Booka Shade

German electro-house duo which is made up of Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeir, go way back in the scene, and that's why they're described as veterans of the Frankfurt electronic music scene. This is will take you back in time with some of the best house beats out there.

 

 

9. Rebekah

Rebeka is a British House and Techno DJ and producer who has established herself as one of the leading exponents of techno currently operating on the global circuit. Get ready to experience a sweaty and dark set that will bring the best vibes all around.

 

 

8. Justin Martin & friends

Dirtybird Justin Martin is bringing down the heat at CRSSD. Get ready for a set full of some of the best house selection that you can imagine. Regardless of not knowing which friends Justin Martin will be bringing along, this set will be one for the books.

 

 

7. Classixx

American electronic music record production and DJ duo, based in Los Angeles, composed of Michael David and Tyler Blake are making their first CRSSD appearance. Classixx are very good producers, their sonic excursions are placid and stylistically considered, with plenty of surface beauty, if not a ton of depth.

 

 

6. Steve Darko

This up and coming artist has already had a string of great releases. Steve Darko's music is perfect for Dirtybird and he has proven that many times during his sets. Get ready to go crazy in the dance floor and show off your best dance moves on every drop.

 

 

5. Waze & Odyssey

Waze and Odyssey are a British electronic music and DJ duo consisting of Serge Santiago and Firas Weaz. Their use of 808 drum machines, Linn Drums and DMX's alongside their assisted plugins results in a powerful and unique trademark to their records. This style also reflects their DJ sets, where classic and contemporary combine which keeps the crowd grooving.

 

 

4. Josh Butler

Josh Butler will drop a set that will have you feeling some kind of way. His sets are known for being a little mellow but groovy at the same time. Josh Butler lives and breathes music of all genres, from Hard House to Ambient. Now defining his sound with bass driven Deep House, he still likes to incorporate elements from his board musical tastes.

 

 

3. Lane 8

American musician, electronic music producer, and DJ is taking over on day two with a set that will be super deep and chill. Daniel Goldstein aka Lane 8 has always tread his own, distinctive path and you can be the judge of this magical set.

 

 

2. ODESZA

This electronic music band, originating from Seattle, Washington is bringing down al the feels during CRSSD. Get ready to experience a set that will have the crowd full of emotions. Whether you decide to smile or cry, the guys from ODESZA will take you into a journey without a doubt.

 

 

1. The Martinez Brothers

Two of the most recognizable global stars in house, techno, and club culture are making their return to CRSSD. The Martinez Brothers is an American DJ duo are quickly rising to become leaders within dance music's new guard.  Get ready for a set that is promised to be groovy from beginning to end.
