Coachella Drops Massive 2022 Lineup With Swedish House Mafia, Flume, + More

| January 13, 2022

After two long years of cancellations and postponements, Coachella will finally return to the desert this spring. Taking place at its treasured home in Indio, California from April 15-17 and April 22-24, Coachella will host over 150 artists each weekend. The premiere music and arts festival holds a significant place in the music and live events industries, typically marking the start of the festival season. Coachella's epic post-pandemic return is sure to be a celebration unlike any other.

It has been a long-standing question whether major festivals would carry over their 2020 lineups, but that does not appear to be the case with Coachella. The 2022 edition will not feature any of the scheduled 2020 headliners, which included Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott, and Frank Ocean. Instead, after a series of last-minute lineup changes and additions, Coachella 2022 will be headlined by Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Ye, with a special performance by Swedish House Mafia.

Coachella's EDM-heavy lineup will have fans in awe with scheduled performances by Flume, Disclosure, Louis The Child, Hayden James, Jamie XX, Madeon, Lost Kings, Tchami, SLANDER, Duck Sauce, 100 Gecs, and more. House and techno fans can dance the day away to sets by Lane 8, Peggy Gou, Black Coffee, Duke Dumont, Purple Disco Machine, The Martinez Brothers, Dom Dolla, John Summit, and more. Bass heads can ride the rail at SLANDER, TOKiMONSTA, WHIPPED CREAM, GG Magree, and more. Coachella will also host a special Head In The Clouds Forever presentation by 88rising.

Beyond the eight stages, attendees can let their creativity flow at the Coachella Art Studio, enjoy gourmet food from dozens of food trucks and vendors, or score bragging rights with fun and games at the Field of Dreams. Fans can even Celebrate Record Store Day by digging through 30,000 pieces of new and vintage vinyl. This year will feature large-scale art installations by Architensions, Cristopher Cichocki, Kiki Van Eijk, Los Dos, Estudio Normal, Oana Stanescu, NEWSUBSTANCE, Do LaB, and Robert Bose. Don't forget to take a ride on Coachella's iconic Ferris Wheel for a 360° view of the epic festival grounds and surrounding desert.

Coachella offers a variety of accommodations ranging from a carefully curated selection of hotels to the Safari Campground, where you can reserve a furnished tent or yurt.Tickets for Weekend 1 are currently sold out but interested fans can join the waitlist. Registration for Weekend 2 tickets is open now. Presale begins Friday, January 14 at 10 am PT.
