[EVENT PREVIEW] Dreamstate SoCal Approaches with Stunning Venue + Lineup

As one of America's reigning trance labels, Insomniac Events is delivering its 2023 edition of Dreamstate Southern California to the shores of Long Beach at the Queen Mary on November 17 + 18, 2023. Although Dreamstate is known for its success with purely trance lineups– usually located at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino– the 2023 festival features a more diverse collection of artists to perform in the new location.

The lineup includes trance frontrunners as well as global hard techno talent. Representing the trance sector of the schedule, Armin Van Buuren, Indira Paganotto, Gareth Emery, Ace Ventura, Vini Vici, Cosmic Gate, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Aly & Fila, Astrix, and more. Internationally acclaimed hard techno acts include Andrew Bayer, Klangkuenstler, Maddix, Shlømo, and Trym.

Dreamstate SoCal Although trance tends to be a lesser-known genre in the American dance music scene, the addition of techno into the lineup will substantially expand the interest for the event, bringing two smaller subcultures of dance music together that frequently overlap in multi-genre events regardless.

The venue change is a fantastic opportunity to elevate a revered festival into a waterfront and on-board experience, dependent upon which tickets are selected. Admission tickets include standard General Admission and Insomniac's VIP Elevated Experience, which is touted as including dedicated restrooms, dance areas, water refill stations, Wi-Fi, activities, and more.

Hotel Packages aboard the Queen Mary are available for those looking for an absolute luxury experience all weekend, as well as many hotel options nearby. In another surprising move by the event organizers and venue, Dreamstate 2023 will host afterparties until 8AM aboard the Queen Mary following both days of the festival.

Although the Queen Mary venue is wonderful, parking can be a challenge if plans are not solidified ahead of time. Attendees are strongly encouraged to use rideshare services or purchase parking in advance, then walk to the shuttle area near the Lincoln Park in Downtown Long Beach.
