Lights All Night Celebrated It Big For 2019
Lights All Night celebrated its ninth annual event return to Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, December 28 and 29 of New Year's Eve weekend. As the largest end of the year party in Dallas as well as one of the largest annual music festivals across the state of Texas, LAN played host to over 30,000 total attendees across two sold-out days.
This year's celebration kicked off on Day 1 with an extremely rare "Redux" set performance from Kaskade. Friday performances also included headlining sets from Diplo and REZZ, along with a main stage set from Kaskade - all of who offered awe-inspiring performances at the larger than life Supernova main stage.
Day 2 started with another special Pre-Party DJ set from Ekali, which helped to set off the high-energy tone for the rest of the year-end party. The Supernova main stage the showed Atlanta's most beloved trap-rapper Gucci Mane, dubstep favorite Excision and a closing festival performance y Grammy-award winning DJ and Godfather of EDM Tiesto. Other notable performances on Day 2 included What So Not, and Shiba San.
iEDM was there to witness this big end of year celebration which brought lots of new art installments, lasers for days, five stages: including two main stages and two brand new stages located outdoors the return of fan-favorite Silent Disco.
With so many talented artists, it was hard to choose our top five sets from the weekend but hopefully, you agree with our selection.
5. Funtcase
Another filthy set by Funtcase indeed, you could spot fans running into the crowd as they were getting to go hard in a set that did not disappoint. Funtcase had all his fans headbanging from beginning to end.
4. Ekali House set
Ekali brought down the house on day two by dropping a house set during the pre-party. House lovers showed up early and showed up their best shuffling skills and enjoyed every drop throughout the entire set.
3. Shiba San
Shiba San dropped a fire set that had people grooving throughout his whole performance. One minute into his set and you could sell the big smiles on fans as they were preparing for one of those sets who you had to be there to experience.
2. Kaskade
This anticipated set brought lots of FUN early on day one as Kaskade dropped the latest single "On Your Mind" along with classics such as "Eyes" and "Last Chance." Kaskade took his fans on a rollercoaster full of emotions and a few groovy drops in between.
1. Anti Up
Anti up came and conquered LAN with their house set that Dallas had been waiting for. This iconic duo which consists of Chris Lake and Chris Lorenzo brought together an amazing set dropping their originals such as Pizza, Hey Pablo. The vibe during this set was out of this world.
The team of Lights All Night delivered another great Light All Night edition with massive production and lots of new installments that gave LAN a new look. Ravers who came from all over came to celebrate this New Years Eve weekend celebration made lots of new memories in what it was a weekend to remember.
