Top 10 iEDM Radio Episodes of 2018

About four years ago iEDM Radio was launched with the mission of providing a global platform for up and coming DJs and an opportunity for established EDM talents to showcase their newest music

2018 was another year full of new episodes and we were honored to feature exclusive iEDM Radio guest mixes by Joe Stone, FTampa, Protoculture, Mowe, Borgore, UMEK and many other unbelievably talented producers.

We've been unbelievably humbled by the feedback iEDM Radio has received since our first feature episode, we do this for you guys and iEDM Radio is just getting started. 

As we welcome 2019, let's take a walk down memory lane throughout 2018 and list the Top 10 iEDM Radio we have picked for you guys.

 

10. Episode 200: Sultan + Shepard

After a chance meeting in a Montreal after-hours club in the mid-2000s, Ossama Al Sarraf and Ned Shepard quickly discovered that they had a natural musical chemistry. They soon began collaborating on original songs, remixes, and songwriting, officially forming Sultan + Shepard in 2010.

 

 

9. Episode 209: Robert Falcon

Rising Belgian DJ and producer Robert Falcon was only 21 when he signed his first track “Raptor” to the best-known label in the dance industry, Spinnin' Records. From that point forward, Falcon’s original productions became frequently listed in all the most prominent Spotify playlists and Beatport charts. He’s already released tracks together with Sam Feldt, Yves V, Mark with a K, Suyano and Sephyx

 

 

8. Episode 204: Third Party

Made up of Jonnie Macaire and Harry Bass, the producers are best known for their incredible live productions and euphoric tracks. Their most recent studio album ‘HOPE’ is widely regarded as one of the finest dance productions of recent generations, and has accumulated over 50 million streams worldwide. Starting their careers making remixes for the likes of Tiësto and Swedish House Mafia, the latter artist soon invited the Essex duo to play at their iconic Masquerade Motel show in Miami, with a further performance at their “One Night Only” event at Alexandra Palace.

 

 

7. Episode 177: Liquid Soul

Nicola Capobianco is a Swiss-born DJ and producer known for his project Liquid Soul. Falling in love with electronic music from a young age, he almost immediately took an interest in DJ’ing and it quickly became clear that his new found passion wasn't just a passing phase.

 

 

6. Episode 188: BVillain 

 Shredding is a way of life, and BVillain proves that at every show with high energy EDM and trap music that keeps the crowd on their feet and constantly engaged. The past four years have consisted of non-stop touring, and he’s performed with artists such as G-Easy, Sky Blu of LMFAO, Shwayze, Cam Meekins, and many more. With over 100 shows a year, this producer shows no signs of slowing down as he continues to put out new music and gain scores of fans.

 

 

5. Episode 219: UMEK

What’s two meters tall, lives behind the iron curtain, has 1605 reasons to run an awesome label and *fucking flies*? Meet UMEK, a techno legend from Slovenia. UMEK is personally responsible for kickstarting the electronic music scene in his home country by organizing illegal raves and becoming one of Slovenia’s most wanted exports, as well as its #1 music ambassador to the whole world. 

 

 

4. Episode 211: NEW-ID

Devi van der Horst, known by his stage name NEW_ID, has had his strongest year to date, releasing his remix of Matt Simons ‘We Can Do Better’ as well as his collab with Dave Winnel, ’You See The Trouble With Me’. He’s got a relentless, globe-trotting gig schedule with many big shows in 2018, and new pop-influenced songs scheduled for release in Q4

 

 

3.  Episode 193: Juicy M

Juicy M's first production, an unofficial remix of Major Lazer's “Watchout For This”, has been supported by heavy hitters like Calvin Harris, Bob Sinclar and Diplo himself, and hit #4 on a weekly chart by the well-known US promo pool DJ City. Soon after, she opened her own record label (JUMMP Records), launched her popular radio show JuicyLand (FM-broadcasted in 11 countries), and landed gigs at club destinations like Privilege, Pacha, and Green Valley.

 

 

2. Episode 186: Ummet Ozcan

By garnering support from a broad array of the world’s top jocks like Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, David Guetta, Avicii, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and Sander van Doorn, he’s solidified his position at the forefront of all-star dance producers.

 

 

1. Episode 176: Borgore

From death metal to dubstep to hip hop, Borgore fans can rest assured that his production efforts will continue to lead the charge with the same high energy, potty mouth charisma that continues to resonate with so many. Stay tuned for forthcoming mass destruction.
